BOA Stage &amp; Screen Production is a unique, industry-led 16-19 academy, specialising in Film, TV, Online and Theatre Production.

Located near Birmingham&rsquo;s Jewellery Quarter, BOA Stage &amp; Screen Production Academy opened in 2021 for Year 12 students. We offer an industry-led education for young people passionate about technical, production, administrative and management roles in stage and screen.

Our students come from diverse backgrounds and share a drive to develop their skills, passion and potential. With a curriculum shaped by leading creative and industry partners, we provide specialist training, real-world experience, and opportunities that prepare students for work, apprenticeships or higher education.

Working closely with teaching staff, the post holder will help create a safe, inclusive, and industry-informed learning environment where students can develop practical, professional-standard technical skills.</p>

<p>The role includes maintaining workshop facilities, tools, equipment, and materials, while supporting practical lessons, productions, and project-based learning.</p>

<p>The post holder will assist students in developing skills in scenic construction, carpentry, prop-making, scenic finishing, and the safe use of workshop equipment, helping to prepare them for progression into theatre, live events, film, television, and the wider creative industries.</p>

<p>The post holder will maintain and manage industry-standard equipment, studios, editing suites and digital resources, ensuring all facilities are safe, organised and fully operational to support an engaging and professional learning environment for students aged 16&ndash;19. The role will involve supporting all stages of media production, including filming, lighting, sound, editing and post-production activities.</p>
