creative careers
Tuesday 17th November 2026 (9am - 11.30am)
Join us at BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy for a morning of creative conversation, bringing together teachers of creative subjects, careers leaders and advisers, and creative industry professionals to explore how we can better support young people on their journey from secondary school, through post-16 education, and into creative careers.
Discover the opportunities available across the West Midlands creative industries; hear directly from professionals and alumni about their journeys from secondary education, through BOA Stage and Screen, and into the industry, and explore the skills, experiences and pathways that can help students turn their creative ambitions into careers.
You’ll have the opportunity to go behind the scenes at BOA Stage and Screen, meet and connect with people working across the creative sector; and take part in breakout discussions to learn more about how you can better support and kickstart a creative student's journey into industry. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your careers provision or better understand progression routes, there will be plenty to take away.
